Another doctor of work blogging

Late last year I blogged about Abigail Schoneboom who did a PhD on the subject of work blogging - see here.

Just today (via Google alerts) I heard of another PhD on the subject of work blogging.

It's by Lilia Efimova.

However, this PhD looks at work blogging in quite a different way than Abigail or myself, i.e. workers using blog to express passion, rather than frustration with employment.

Click here for a summary of Lilia's work.

I find this noteworthy. Maybe long are the days where work was seen as merely an obligation, substituted by a time where strategic management can bring enjoyment to workers, who in turn gladly express it in public.

All scientific study related to work, work-related expression, and the improvement of work (including the theme of safety and prevention of work accidents) should be encouraged and highlighted, especially at PhD level.
