Someone to watch over me

Again there's not that much to easily report on Fridays. So, I've taken the opportunity to draw attention to an article published in a health and safety magazine on workplace surveillance. Many people who blog about work are bound to be worried that one day, some how, they will be found out, yet the reality of being monitored at work is much closer than most people appreciate. The article itself looks at the possibility of a new workplace code on surveillance, but what it does best is highlight the many ways you could be monitored whilst going about your daily work. Print it off and put it on the staff noticeboard for best effect!

STOP SNOOPING - HAZARDS

The only work-related story I could find concerns the dispute on the Glasgow underground and how it continues to escalate. The city can look forward to a 4-day stoppage as management and union officials fail to agree on pay. However, the main sticking point appears to be about how disputes are resolved in the future and not so much the pay itself.
