I came across a really interesting blog the other day courtesy of the Queen of the Sky. The blog in question - Global Voices: The world is talking. Are you listening? - is "an international effort to diversify the conversation taking place online by involving speakers from around the world, and developing tools, institutions and relationships to help make these voices heard."
It is suggested that "Global Voices" is a guide to the most interesting conversations, information, and ideas appearing around the world on various forms of participatory media such as blogs, podcasts, photo sharing sites, and videoblogs. Each day regional blogging editors link to 5-10 of the most interesting blog posts from their regions in the “daily roundups” section.
It's worth a look if only to remind bloggers of how widespread and diverse bloggers and blogging can be.
