Organisational uses for Web 2.0 has been of increasing interest to those who are involved in human resource management.
The latest edition of the CIPD's People Management magazine is a particular case in point.
In this instance we see Westminster council's use of a new discussion board enabled by Web 2.0 technologies.
Apparently, the new practices were brought into complement existing communication and discussion channels, such as cascaded briefings to managers, union meetings and “open-house” briefing sessions.
