The CIPD recently published a report looking at managing conflict at work.

Reports survey findings on: the impact of the statutory dispute procedures, training to manage conflict at work, mediation, formal disciplinary and grievance cases, employment tribunal claims, causes of conflict at work, sources of advice for UK employers in managing employment disputes

A range of case studies are used to illustrate practice of managing workplace conflict that include West Midlands Police, Cobbetts LLT, Royal and SunAlliance, and Fife Council.
